At Kiowa Valley Organics our cattle have been fed the finest in certified organic feed. Our farm of 140 acres provides ample room for the cattle to roam. Our cattle are on a grassfed diet that ensures our product is tender, lean, and healthy. Major benefits of grass-fed beef include lower fat content, cholesterol and calories. Lean meat can have one third as much fat as a similar cut from a grain-fed animal with more vitamin E, beta-carotene, and vitamin C. Lean beef also provides an excellent source of protein, essential minerals including Zinc and Iron, as well as vitamins B12 and B6. Organic grass-fed beef provides a very good source of protein, vitamin B12 and a number of health promoting fats, including omega-3 fatty acids and "conjugated linoleic acid." or CLA.
We ensure you'll be getting the finest quality in certified organic grass-fed beef at Kiowa Valley. We are all what we eat including our cows which are fed their native diet in a low stress environment. Which gives us healthy, happy cows.
Although we raise our cattle organically, our processor is not certified organic processor. Therefore after our beef leaves the farm, the cattle lose the Certified Organic label.
